Have questions?
Do I have to grind all these whole Indian spices myself?
No! Many whole Indian spices like bay leaves and cinnamon sticks go straight into your cooking. Others like cumin seeds can be used whole for tempering, or you can grind them when you need powder.
Can I eat the whole Indian spices in my food?
Some yes, some no. You can eat cardamom seeds and fennel seeds (they're great for fresh breath!). But don't eat bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, or cloves - they're just for flavour.
Are these spices actually from India?
Yes, our spices are sourced from India and meet the same quality standards used in Indian kitchens. They're not the mild versions you often find in Australian supermarkets.
Are these whole Indian spices much stronger than supermarket ones?
Yes, way stronger! Supermarket spices often sit on shelves for months losing flavour. Our fresh whole Indian spices keep their strength until you use them.
I don't have a spice grinder - can I still use whole Indian spices?
Yes! You can crush cardamom pods with a knife handle, or use a rolling pin in a sealed bag. For larger amounts, a clean coffee grinder works perfectly for grinding whole Indian spices.
Do you ship Australia-wide?
Yes, we ship fresh spices across Australia. Most orders are sent out within 1-2 days so your spices arrive as fresh as possible.
