  2. Add the chopped onions and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger paste, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, and cook until they break down about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and garam masala. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the lamb pieces and salt, and cook until the lamb is browned about 10 minutes.
  7. Pour in the water, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the lamb is tender.
  8. Serve the Lamb Rogan Josh hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
